All countries should have a right to participate in discussions I think - everyone from the US to Iran - but I think the decision of the UN should be final. It was pretty underhanded of the American government to go over and above the advice of the UN during the Iraq war, and maybe they should somehow be penalised for this. Same goes for every country - not just the States.

Yes. And other countries should impose sanctions on us, the same way we always have when the other side has done things like this, declaring gratuitous wars under false pretexts for personal gain and power.

We used to protect the world from bullies. Now we're the biggest bully on the bloc. More Americans are seeing this, so don't give up all hope. But don't hold your breath, either.

America as a whole is still a very giving and forgiving country. We don't all think that our poop doesn't stink. We just need to get back to the business of being a democracy and a good example for the less-civilized regions of the world again. We've put a chest-thumping Ape in charge of the White House, someone who has allowed himself to be lowered to the terrorists' level rather than taking the high road and kicking their a$$es with some class, intelligence, and dignity.

He could have been Clint Eastwood but he went in like Fred Flintstone on crack and steroids. Yep, that ought to rid the world of terrorists, there, Einstein...

America is mostly a country of the unbelievably stupid, naive and ignorant.

However, it has become rich and powerful because of a land rich in natural resources (taken with much bloodshed from the natives) and because of a small minority of brilliant scientists and intellectuals who are held in contempt by the majority who take advantage of their achievements.

America has been so provably wrong on so many issues it is absurd and they are too stupid to see it.

1. They now talk about solving the problems of the Middle East after voting in a president who initially said the rest of the world didn't matter to Americans (and wanted to pull out of the Palestinian/Israeli peace process- the Palestinian situation being a prime recruiting sergeant for terrorists)

2. They ignored the rest of the world who warned that they should take stock and plan before invading Iraq (and many of these supported eventual military action.

3. They said they don't believe in Global Warming (the fact that they would ignore their own Academy of Science shows how anti-intellectual they are).

A country does not need permission to go to war. Americans typically discuss things a lot, the fact that we went to the UN at all is evidence of that. Also, look back at history. Who tried to be nice to the Germans after WWI in order to prevent another war? Who tried to be nice after WWII? It was the US. Looking even further back, the US was the only country opposed to imperialism while the European countries were running rampant. The US has a large State Dept and spends billions, if not trillions, of dollars in order to prevent war and we have always taken that position. We even risk our own soldiers' lives in order to stop wars in other countries.

I think 14 years of diplomacy was enough for Iraq. The only reason the UN/Russia/France didn't want us to go into Iraq is because they were being bribed by Saddam. Jeez...come on....The Coalition is NOT the bad guys here. We use the diplomatic tool first and always. You are obviously not a very informed person. Get all the facts mull them over, then make your opinion. You are only working on half cylinders.

So right here it is going: at the start, I completely consider you. I advise, the main reason united states of america became colonized (a minimum of interior the eyes of the colonists - the British have been all into mercantilism on the time) became for individuals to have non secular freedom. Christians can no longer use that for the duration of basic terms for his or her very own income. It is going the two approaches. they are able to't say that they have the liberty to coach their faith in peace and not enable others to coach their very own as nicely. on condition that ought to be limiting somebody's rights. And, I promise you, that's unconstitutional. yet in order that which you comprehend, there truly is a verse interior the Bible that tells them to "stick their noses into human beings's corporation." i could no longer inform you the place that's, yet i've got heard my dad communicate approximately it plenty. It says something approximately them having to chat the actuality to absolutely everyone who will hear (so by some skill they translate that into forcing their faith onto people who do no longer want it and young ones who're too youthful to comprehend it). this is absurd how they manage issues to signify something thoroughly diverse than what became initially meant. this is definitely insane.

No.
No matter what a country does, it should never be excluded from world diplomacy. If it were, what options would be left open?
I don't agree with all the U.S. has done recently, but I would like to live in a world where ALL country's respected each others views and way of life.

I just love how some people hate on all Americans just because they don't like the US govt. Ever thought that a lot of Americans don't agree with their govts policy either?

People like you who stereotype groups of people and hate on them are the root of a lot of the world's problems.
