People need to stop being so jugemental. He asked on advice on how old to buy a condom, not if he should have sex or not.
Condoms can be gotten just about anywhere! Gas Stations, Walgreens, CVS pharmacies, or even the Planned Parenthood clinic where you can get them for FREE.
I never encourage others to have sex, but if you're going to, might as well inform on how to stay safe instead of judge right away.

There's no legal age for buying condoms. You can get them at any pharmacy like CVS or Eckerd. Small boxes are usually $9 and big boxes $20. But it depends on what type of condom you want to purchase.

There is no age limit, Although they can probably refuse to sell to like an eight year old.
They go for up to a buck each, but at costco 144 for 35.75.
I once saw a guy buy 10 boxes. Who needs 1440 condoms.

there is no age restriction on buying condoms. you can get ta hem at a pharmacy, convenience stores, or wal mart. if you are embarrassed, i recommend going to a place with a self checkout(wal mart, price chopper) and buying them yourself. just be confident and act like nothing is different. even if you are at a place with a cashier, they have probably seen MUCH wierder things then people buying condoms. and besides, it doesnt really matter what hey think anyway, since you are not likely to ever see them again, and they probably wont remember you anyway if you don't make a big deal.

Watermelon are you insane? or did you really just say you had to be 18?!?!?!
And Jenny, get with the times, its his decisions, and the girls, not yours. So you don't agree with it, you don't do it, why do you have to sit there and critisize his decision? Sometimes we other people in 2006 hate living like this because there are more complainers, hipocrits and such.
Come on, schools give them out for free, you don't have to be a certian age to get them. . . . . . Besides that, every school here in the US says "if you are going to have sex, atleast make it safe" and tells you to use condoms.
Planned Parenthood is a great place to get them, and talk about the decisions of having sex if you are young.
Take your time, you have the rest of your life, and be careful.

Don't be embarrassed mastermind. I'm glad that you want to protect yourself and whoever you choose to have sex with. I do not know if you have to be a certain age to buy a condom, I don't think it matters.

If you don't know the answer to this question, you are too young for sex. BUT, if you are going to have sex, I applaude your decision to be protected. Just go into the store and buy one. There is nothing to be embarrased about!!

As soon as you can count change, a 5yr old can buy them if they want. I see why so many young women end up pregnant, this nation is doing a poor job informing young people about their own health care.
