I can stream free tv from the free to view stations broadcasting from around the world. Mostly news and stuff. Just google for a good website. I downloaded my program off lime wire.

But I also have a tv card that requires an aerial to be set up or connection to the cable/satellite box.

No, you do not need a TV card to stream televison channels over the internet. There are a few good sites, but most of them have a fee you have to pay to watch.

It depends on what exactly you want to watch. Here is a list of TV channels that stream over the web, no need for a card.

As far as watching streamed television on your tv goes, ShoutcastTV is a streaming service with a few good programs. The only problem is that a few streams restrict their programs to people that subscribe to their sites. Also alot of pronography is on it. I just use the rating filter to remove the XXX content.

And no, a TV tuner is not required for it.

open an internet browser then type www.google.com and then type in the search box free internet TV channels. You will have loads coming up and in fact loads from abroad as well as some local. some of them use window media which you must have installed on your pc and some others real player again you must have installed on your pc both for free again google to see where you can download these for free. good luck

on most of the sites u have to pay them to watch their channels.. n still all they have to offer is a fuzzy pic with a fram rate like 1 or 2 frames per second.. so i would recommend u 2 buy a nice tv tuner card on an externel monitor2tv box.. they r much much better..

If you have sky they are just releasing a package with free broadband and you will be able to stream films etc.

Think the BBC will be following that up soon!
