it means that they love you like you were their own child. it means that in no way are they sexually attracted to you, unless they are really sick.
take it as a compliment and go on your merry little way.

I would hope that you know that person pretty well. Otherwise, it could be a very sick individual trying to get you to trust them so they can take advantage of you.
If it is somebody you have known for awhile, who has done a lot for you and asked nothing in return... then it could be a very good thing. Do you need somebody older in your life to take the place of a mother who is absent or who neglects you?
If so, then this person is letting you know that they would like you to love them back in the way that you would love your mother, and repay them by treating them with respect and making them a part of your life... allow them to help you and give you advice.
Share stories, pictures, and friends with them. Help them out of their loneliness. If you have a very nice mother or father already, then you will need to be careful not to let this person try to replace them, because that would hurt your parent very much.
But -- if you see any signs of improper physical affection, beyond a normal hug or kiss on the cheek-- any touching in places that are private... report them to your parents and put them out of your life. Unfortunately, there are a lot of sick people in the world and we do have to be careful.

Sounds like a wonderful compliment to me! She loves you as if you were her own daughter; she holds you more dear than if you were just another friend. Maybe she also, out of love, feels a responsibility toward you to help or counsel you. In any case, you are very special to her, and she loves you very much!

This isn't that hard, he loves you like a daughter.
It is a compliment, How would you expect a father to love a daughter ? He will be there for you , help you and care about your life. You are as important to him as a daughter is.

Loving you as a daughter is a compliment to you. They mean that you are someone they cherish as family, not just as a friend.

It means that this person doesn't love you like you love a wife or a girlfriend. He/She has no romantic feelings for you.
