I am not for sure if I understand your question but will try to answer.

To get the majority of American citizens to want a normal & equal relationship similar to what the US has with Israel, Arab & Muslim countries must denounce the radical and hate filled clerics, imprison all the criminal terorists, modernize their societies, stop teaching your children to hate the Western world and live in peace with Israel and all other countries.

Americans have been with the Arabs for years, until some of them do something stupid.

Some people have this all-or-nothing mentality. Our president even professed to such in some of his rhetoric. But being against the Taliban or an Iraqi dictator does not mean that every Arab or Moslem is an enemy. We count many friends among those circles: Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Morrocco, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and now Lybia is back to normal in relations and Lebanon used to be, for a long, long time.

Israel is our friend, these mentioned above are too. But when some Arabs say things like that they want to 'drive Israel into the sea' or that they won't rest until Israel is destroyed--things spoken by the former PLO head, the current Hezbollah leadership, and the president of Iran--then that cuts the cords of friendship--to these, not all.

If you think our government is lop-sided then either you haven't been watching, or you've caught either the racist or all-or-nothing virus.

Yesterday, an Muslim American walked into a Synagogue, proclaimed he was a Muslim American and that he hated Jews and Israel, and then shot 6 people. Where is the out cry from Arab Americans? Where was the out cry after 9/11 from the Arab lands? They were cheering. I will respect them when they show they respect us. Until then, I'll take them on an individual basis.

The other guys already said it...the Arabs should join us in our (the World's) fight against Osama and Fiends. Unfortunately the evidence shows that most Arabs even rejoiced whenever attacks like 9/11 or the Bali bombings occurred...why the hell then should they feel sorry for the likes of them?

its not possible, America will never put any nation before its close allies, they don't need Arabs, USA will never forsake Israel for any Arab nations. its the way the world is, Arabs chose to take Iran's side rather than USA so they become an enemy of USA. "The Arab World" is about the same size as the USA with relatively the same population.
Israel is the size of Massachusetts. I don't see what the big problem is.
