Hesiod (Greek: Esiodos) tells us (around 700 bC) in "Theogonia" (the birth of the gods) that first came Chaos. Then Gaia (Earth), then Tartaros (underworld) and Eros (Desire). From Chaos came Erebos (Darkness) and Nyx (Night). Erebos and Nyx produced Aither (Ether/air) and Hemera (Day). From Gaia came Ouranos (Sky, also seen as Uranus), Orea (Mountains), and Pontos (Sea). Then Ouranos & Gaia produced the twelve Titans.
Theogonia is the best and most systematic collection of the ancient world on the subject of the origin and relations of the ancient Greek mythological deities.

Yes, absolutely.

The Titans were the deities of the pre-Olympian stage of Greek religion, demoted to the rank of Titans from godhood. But even the Titans are not the first. Before the Titans were the cthonic deities (the Earth Goddess, variously known as Ge, Gaea, and by many other names, and Ouranos, the Starry Sky God, Her consort).

The best history of the Greek gods, from the Olympian perspective (which demotes pre-Olympian systems such as the Mycenaean Cthonism, but keeps them around as ancestors of the Olympian gods & goddesses) can be found in Hesiod's Theogony, which was written in the 8th century BCE. I strongly recommend anyone seriously interested in Greek mythology start by reading the Theogony.

There are a whole schlew of "gods" before the titans, but those gods are considered titans by name aswell and in association.

Chaos/Khaos that birthed the world created Gea/Gaia and the two spawned the litany of decendants.---however there is no real concrete legends or stories about the universe's beginnings outside of it was there and always was there and blah blah blah.

Chaos is considered the space or black void stuff....that gaseous cloud mixture that can not be named in its entirity outside of the cosmos....and Gea is called the Earth Mother in some legends as she represented the Earth within this cosmos of chaos. Together the two created a bunch of "kids" like Nyx and Nox and their progeny and the essence of beings that inspire others. Uranus and Rhea were born who were both brother and sister aswell as lovers. Uranus was thought of as the mountains and/or the horizon concept with the stars and the sky and the view....and Rhea was thought of the motherly extention of Gea. Together they had children, a plethera of kids, that span from monsters and cyclopses to others who are more formally known as the Titans like Chronos and Oceanus and their brothers and sisters.

It should be said incase you didn't know that Venus/Aphrodite, is a Titan by some stories as she was born from Uranus' blood in the Ocean....in others stories she is the Olympian daughter of Zeus.

Don't forget there was a lot of inbreeding, by our society's standards, all over the place.

One type of narrative about the age of gods tells the story of the birth and conflicts of the first divinities: Chaos, Nyx (Night), Eros (Love), Uranus (the Sky), Gaia (the Earth), the Titans and the triumph of Zeus and the Olympians.

yes. the primordial forces
Chaos was probably the first. Gaia, the Earth, came next, and Eros and Tartaros may also have sprung into existence at about the same time and then Gaia bore the titan

There were the primordial gods before the Titans. Chaos, the void (basically outer space), Gaia (the earth), Ouranos (the sky), Pontus (the sea). They were called the Protogonoi, and there were many.
