Hey if we have to raise the wage for lazy liberals who dont know how to make money, why cant someone who makes a good honest living get a break too?

I think the libs are mad because maybe they wont get as many food stamps with a min wage increase

Democrats have tried 100 times to increase the minimum wage and Republicans have blocked it 100 times. Read some get the facts. Take the time to become educated.
The tax cut bill is for a reduction in the estate tax, the one percent of Americans who want this tax cut are Republicans.
Iraq will cost working class tax payers $2 trillion over 5 years, Republicans never pay for their own mistakes, they ask others to pay with Higher taxes.
Only those that are un informed would fall for the Minimum wage election year stunt by Republicans in Congress.

I have little doubt that this did not pass because there were too many "riders" attached to the bill. If you don't know what I'm talking about, find out. It's how the republicans raised thier base pay and relaxed the rules for thier friend's companies.
Republicans also want illeagal immagrants to steal your taxes.
Also, so many companies are struggling right now that a wage increase would mangle the economy more than it is already. O yeah, btw, the economy is screwed up despite the reports (lies) from the president.

Just think of what it is to have a bill that says to minimum wage workers, 'We'll raise your minimum wage but only if we can give an estate tax cut to the 7,500 wealthiest families in America...why dont read the whole story.......and frame your questions with the facts not lies..The republicans simply want to Give their rich friends more money ,even though it passed the house the Senate will kill this bill.

Democrats rejected the bill because it ties the increase to more tax cuts for the wealthy. The wealthy already got several tax cuts. More tax cuts means less income for the federal government. Less income means more debt. Whiny "gimme, gimme, gimme" conservatives...

Why is it impossible to pass a bill simply on it's merits without attaching a bunch of riders to it?
