Basically, I would say that the unpopular people are still unpopular. It's just that when we get older, we really don't care so much about all that. The popular people aren't necessarily more successful, if that's what you mean. A lot of "nerds" are very intelligent and if they are wise enough to apply that, and have parents who guide them properly, they can become quite successful. But if a person has a nasty personality, and is not popular because of that, they don't tend to change much. Those people are still kind of unpopular because they turn people off.

Having not been in high school for 36 years now I think I have a pretty good perspective on that! Most people turned out pretty much the same. Some are more successful than others, but most are average people living the best they can.
You can form lifelong friendships that start in high school, and sometimes those friendships will lead to opportunity, but for the most part all that crap doesn't mean a thing in later years!

Don't know, don't care.
Actually, I do know of a couple. I don't recall who was particularly popular or UNpopular, but I know one kid became a fireman, 2 others are cops, one is a big time director at Walt Disney Studios, several went into politics. Others, we are scattered to the winds.

Most of the popular people are just like the rest of us....(I was one of the unpopular ones....not that I cared...) They have jobs, some are married, have children..and deal with the stresses that all the rest of us deal with. Their thinking that they were so "special" back then didn't get them any further ahead.

the known ones who weren't bullies or hateful persons look to do properly. even with the reality that, the elegant even with the undeniable fact that bullies and impolite looked as though it may fail. Its like it was once a drug for them in extreme college, which gave them their fix. as quickly as long long previous it exchange into alcohol or drugs...................... That ended their lives so tragically. No, truthfully it quite is an opinion, family individuals and pals can exchange destiny for some. Others who have been completely withdrawn with dysfunctional families looked as though it may exchange into as their tormentors.

Popular....some went on to college, many others got married and had children and divorced...not all, of course, but many of them.
Unpopular....some went on to college, many others got into drugs and crime, spent years in jail...not all, of course, but many of them.
I was somewhere in the middle, I guess. Never divorced and never in jail...smiling
