I am looking for something inexpensive. I want to be able to sit in an easy chair or lay down in bed and be on the computer with out lugging around a pc. What is what is being described called? Who sells it? Thank you.

Well, you can have a wireless key board and mouse (will work for 4-8 feets). You can use this "D-LINK DPG-2000W Airplus G 802.11G Wireless Presentation Gateway" to pipe through your monitor display.
If you just want to use the processing power or a application on your desktop, you may buy a inexpensive laptop setup networking and use something like VNC or Go To My PC to get a desktop of your PC available in full interactive mode to you on your laptop screen.

Well, its not inexpensive, but you could get a Tablet Touchscreen PC like the one in the link below.
