I'm thinking of making some extra money this way but would like to hear from others who have done it.

I've done it - it's pretty much as kittybriton described. Sometimes you're asked to hold a pose for a long time, sometimes they'll switch you up every couple of minutes, depending on what the students are working on. Be prepared to hold a pose for at least 20 minutes. Only once or twice was I asked to keep the same pose for the entire session.

If you're worried about being naked in front of a room full of people - it's a little strange the first time, but once you realize that you're not being looked at in a sexual way - that the students are actually looking at the lights and shadows on your skin, and not judging your every physical flaw, you'll relax. After my first time, I was much more concerned that the room would be chilly than I was that anyone was leering at me.

Haven't done it myself, but I am an arts graduate. The usual procedure is to disrobe somewhere private, then enter the studio in a bathrobe, or wrapper which you shed before settling down. The tutor may pose you for the class if there is something they want to demonstrate, or allow you to choose a pose that is comfortable.

DON'T choose a pose that you couldn't sleep in. I did once (for clothed drawing) and my muscles were trembling after just a few minutes.

Don't worry if you don't have a perfect body. Students have to learn to draw all kinds of figures.
