you might not be drinking enough water or getting enough viamins. try either of those and if that doesnt work then you should talk to your doctor or a demotologist. they should be able to tell you some tips and pin point the problem.

Don't use too many products on your lips, this can cause the products to interact with each other and give you an allergic reaction.

Find a nice, moisturizing lipstick -- Christian Dior is fantastic. It's very moisturizing and it really does stay on all day long. Chanel fades away after 45 minutes, and so does Lancome, as a matter of fact. It's also cheaper than those two also.

Also, are you drinking enough during the day? This is another reason why your lips would peel.

Drink water. Then drink more water!! It sounds like you need more water! Sometimes the more I drink, the drier I feel. But within a few hours, I start feeling better. I also use aloe lip balm that I buy from the palm springs aloe people. I have also used the lip balm from Trader Joe's, but the aloe is so much better. Have you had too much sun? I have a friend at work who has had too much sun. Her lips are always peeling too. She just doesn't listen to what I tell her. Be sure and use sun screen when in the sun (trader joe's lip balm has it). I don't use vaseline, as it makes my lips worse!

Lypsol lip balm. It has no fragrance & no coloring. It's for sensative lips. It's the best thing anyone has ever made. I've looked at drug stores & couldn't find it though. The only place I've been able to buy it is the dreaded Wal-Mart.

The body shop store sells lip conditioner and is very good. It also comes in many flavors so tastes good.

Exfoliate. Then use the lip balm.
Putting lip balm on dead skin is like watering a dead plant - doesn't work.
If it's really bad, see a dermatologist.
