You mean, did he really die.
Most likely, at least his physical form. He'll probably be brought back to life or something by his pet phoenix. Or his ghost will be in the next one. Want I really want to know is what those initials stand for...

Yes, Dumbledore was killed by Snape in 'Half-Blood Prince'. However, it is important to remember the books are from Harry's point of view and we only see and know what he sees and knows. So, while Dumbledore was killed by Snape, it could have been planned. The Headmaster is a pragmatic man who would sacrifice himself in a heartbeat if his death was beneficial to the Order (and what could be more beneficial than making Snape seem even more trustworthy in Voldemort's eyes).

You should check out http://www.geocities.com/snapeisgood/ for plenty of evidence to suggest that Snape is still good and he and Dumbledore planned for him to take the Headmaster's life.

I think he's either still alive, or he has left some way of further contacting Harry. He's not an idiot, and he had a reason to trust Snape. Perhaps Snape really was a traitor, but Dumbledore must have known this and planned it to some extent.

Yes. At first, when I read it, I thought "after all the Death Eaters leave he'll reappear and be all cheerfull like always." but he didn't. I gave up hope on him when he was buried. About the whole Snape thing, Dumbledore had been thinking about other things at the time. So maybe he wasn't paying enough attention. But I always hated Snape, so I wasn't surprised really that he turned out to be a bad guy.
