WHen they are not working as a teacher, do they have a long break, like summer?

Yeah, same as the kids. They leave a few days after the kids do and come back a week earlier than the kids do.

Some have long breaks (teachers) although many teachers take other jobs in the summer.

Some people get a set amount of vacation time per year. Usually two or more weeks. This often depends on how long you have remained with the same employer.

Some companies use a "time bank" system, where you accrue so many hours per month (again, this increases with length of employment).

Yes they have the summers off generally. In my state they can opt to get paid during the summer, or get paid more during the year and get no check on the summer. A lot of teachers I know have other jobs in the summer as well

A lot of adults like to vacation in my hometown -- Las Vegas.
