Although Henry VIII had Jane Seymour buried in the black marble tomb at Windsor Castle that he had planned for himself, he does not lie there with her. Instead, he is in the center of St. George's Chapel in Windsor, next to Charles I. Interesting that the king who fomented a civil war over restoration of Catholicism and absolutism by the British Monarchy is alongside the king who broke with Rome and exercised virtual absolute rule in England a century before.

EDIT - EDIT - EDIT:

It bothered me that the references and chapel site plan for St. George's did not mention Jane Seymour as other references had suggested and other posters have also mentioned. Took a bit more searching to clarify: The burials now are beneath the floor of the chapel. There are FOUR Royals interred in the same vicinity - besides Henry VIII and Charles I are Jane Seymour (y'all vindicated!), and "Infant Child of Queen Ann". A photo at shows the memorial slab placed by King William IV with the names inscribed.

Henry VIII was buried next to Jane Seymour, as she was his apparent favourite of his wives, methinks

Well, looks like you got it. Henry had himself buried next to his 3rd wife, Jane Seymour.

His third wife (Jane Seymour), Henry considered her to be his most loving & christian wife mainly because she gave him the longed for son & died before he could get bored of her and want someone else, she became the ideal wife in his memories because she didn't live long enough for him to tire of her & look to other women
