People who rape have some severe mental issues, some which cannot be resolved, and they will always be a danger. I am not for the death penealty, and for a true rapist or pedophile, throw away the key!

Myth 4: Men rape for sex. Rape has very little to do with sexual passion. Lonely and socially inadequate men rarely rape because they cannot find a sexual partner. In fact, most rapists have a sexual partner. Rape is usually committed for reasons of power, anger, and sadism. Men who feel powerless and frustrated may rape to feel a sense of power. Other men are angry, particularly with women, and act out there anger on their victims. Finally, in the sadistic rape, the goal is to humiliate the victim and the rape is often accompanied by mental and physical abuse.

The death penalty is a remedy against a repeat offense, but does society have the right to take a life?To my mind a better punishment would be chemical castration that could be reversed at a future date if the offender was judged to be rehabilitated

The dying penalty is barely imposed while there is overwhelming information that homicide has been dedicated. That information is positioned until now a jury who then come to a determination on the information given to them that a homicide has been performed via the accused. If information emerges later that throws that conviction into doubt it extremely isn't any longer the fault of the state nor the jurors by using fact they'd in basic terms act on the information given.A homicide is a premeditated killing of yet another guy or woman. The jury do no longer plan to kill the defendant they only be certain their innocence or guilt . If I vote for capitol punishment i'm no longer vote casting for persons to be performed i'm vote casting for a deterrent to be made regulation if somebody then commits homicide they accomplish that with the finished wisdom that they are going to be performed. the vast majority of overturned convictions for homicide have not actual absolved the defendant of guilt they have been errors in technique or information coping with even place of work work that has been incorrectly filed can bring about a retrial.in maximum instances the fairly homicide isn't suggested it extremely is the strategies of the trial that are positioned into doubt.

People like Cantcu and Maddy encourage and pamper rapists by giving excuses for their rapes. So what if sex is not the prime motive of rape as suggested by cantcu? It's still an inhuman offense. Rapists not only exploit women/girls/children physically but they rob them of their pride and dignity. It's a shame to see people like Cantcu and Maddy defending such crimes against women. What right does a rapist has to transfer STD (if he has) to an innocent women by force? What right does he have to abuse a little girl who should be worried about pimples rather than getting raped? What right does he have to permanently damage a girl's psyche for the rest of her life?

Death is only thing the rapists deserve. I wish they rot in hell.

The death penalty cures nothing, to many innocent people have been sent to their death. Life in prison is a better penalty, if a person knows that the next 40 years of their life will be spent behind bars then that is a deterrent to any crime.

Actually, you'd get more time for selling pot than rape.

I don't like the death sentence because that is the easy way out..... I say let the crime fit the punishment! Castration would stop each person convicted and probably deter a lot of others. Also, if we 'throw away the key', maybe they will get karmic retribution in prison : ) Now, that's justice!

capital punishment is not the remedy to rape or other like capital offences.feminist may want it as a punishment but i think what he have done he have to pay here.if we give them death penalty it can just finish the sinner not the sin.

preventing a disease is far better than curing,we have to arrange counselling for them, there should besex education in our course curriculum,

sometime it is found that rape(or physical closeness) is attempted by relatives but truth relatives.but it is suppressed by parents or other members.but we should rage our voice against them, it may obs tract him to do this
in future.

a life sentence may be given but looking his past record a death penalty can be given.

For a person to take on such a crime, to commit the forcible rape of another person, they have no soul, they are no human. They have lost the ability to be talked about in human terms. They do deserve to have their life taken away from them.

Being a stout liberal, I strongly oppose it. There's no crime in the world that deserves death penalty - no matter how heinous it is.
Don't forget it's all about loving criminals. All the rapists, who choose to do this barbaric act, aren't normal. Most of them are victims of child abuse, poverty, or frustration in their early lives. They should be sent to mental institutions and rather than punishing them we must get to the root of their problems. They need help, support on their path to redemption. Remember, Human Rights are for humans. And they are humans.

The death penalty should be reserved for the most heinous of crimes such as pre-meditated murder.
