I can relate. My son has asthma and I can not hardly stand it when he gets sick or it seems like something is going to trigger his asthma. I have learned to relax some, my husband gets more stressed out then me. I also feel overprotected of my daughter going to her friends house if they have a pool (she can swim a little) or if they have a four-wheeler.

Oh my goodness. You are going to not only make yourself sick by being this way with your child, you are going to make him sick. Kids are kids. They need to go explore and do things. Yes, they will get sick and yes, they will even hurt themselves. It is all part of growing up. You have to protect them as best you can and then let them go and explore.

If your child is really sick, how well are you helping him if you are making yourself sick also. Your child needs to know that you will be there to help him if he needs it, but you trust him and support him enough to let him do his own thing. Stop smothering your child. I know you mean well, but you are doing more harm than good.

I don't get sick if they do, but I am (this is serious) worried that if someone tried to kidnap them or use them as hostage, I would drag them down and murder them without even thinking twice.
Scary to think, but I can't help it. I don't want to go to jail, so I hope this will never happen.
