If they go through the US Mail you should put in a change of address. You can even have them hold your mail for a week while you settle in, then have the change of address go into effect. This does mean that you will have to pick up that mail, but better then it sitting somewhere if they deliver it.
Of course, there is the UPS problem. Since a lot of people use that. You may want to call UPS and see if they have any recommendations.
Can you contact any senders with your new address. Can you get a nice neighbor to get and hold packages for you?

What you can do, and should've done, is go to the post office and fill out one of their forwarding address forms. That way if anything shows up there, it will get forwarded. As for the ebay stuff, you should try to contact the seller, and see if they can send it to your new address, If it is already in transit via FedEx or UPS, try to get a hold of the distribution center and see if they can help you out.

Put in a "change of address" form with the Post Office and they will forward it to your new address. Otherwise it will be returned to the sender. You can get one at the nearest Post Office today and fill it out and turn it in right there in 2 minutes and you'll be covered.
If you can't make it to the Post Office you can do it on line from this site for a fee. I got this link from the www.usps.gov site.

Depending on where you live the post office might hold it and leave you a note to pick it up. Letters and bills are forwarded here but not magazines and packages.
