A couple of years ago, I had a lady friend who ONLY wore stockings and garters, never pantyhose or thighhighs. She purchaed at several places Quality stockings are quite expensive and require careful handling. Be prepared to pay the price.

stockingstore.com has way more nice stuff than figleaves or victorias secret. All they sell is stockings and garterbelts, and some corsets, and they have more pages than the other sites. I have purchased lingerie from all three, but for stockings and garters, its stockingstore.com

Rigby and Peller; they're the Queen's corsettiers. Only buy pure silk. You can forget Ann Summers; anything from there will scratch you to death. For nylons, go to Secrets in Lace or Glamourgirlonline. The Sheerfactor was always good but I've found difficulty connecting to it just now.
