Is a simple life style the best? Is the Dalai Lama happier in his spartan daily life than Donald Trump in his gold-plated luxury? Would you rather have dinner with The Donald or with Trump?

Do you remember when David Copperfield said, "Please, sir, I'd like some more"?

If you don't have then you can't want. Once you have a little taste of what it is like to be rich then you want more just because you know what it is like. The simple life is best because you don't get caught up in everything that comes with being rich including being selfish and wanting. I can't tell you which one is happier because I don't know them personally. I would like to have dinner with the Dalai Lama though because The Donald doesn't interest me just because he has money but the Dalai Lama could enlighten me on spirituality and we might be able to have a good conversation.

We live in a captalist society . . . it is the nature of things. I think the Dalai Lama is happier and I have no interest in meeting either The Donald or what you have set as his alter ego, the Trump.

good question!
is richness equal to happiness? no need to answer this. instead, let's think that we are happy when we are contented and feel enough.
i don't know what a simple life is. simple in which aspect? i can have a nice, cozy house, although a bit expensive, but it can be a simple house, simple life.
i don't want to dine with Dalai Lama. 1st, he's a dead corspe now. 2rd, i'm simply ignorance to his theory and phylosophy.
i prefer D.Trump. i want to tast some expensive dishes.

I think most people that are rich are actually very poor and scared people. The only way for them to feel safe is to have money so they'll be treated with respect.. Even I would very much like that allthough I know its fake respect based on nothing.. people need secutity to not live in fear and...thats the problem if you'ld ask me..

The supreme happiness lies in understanding "success" correctly.once we do that...you would like to have you
dinner with either Lama/Trump/a begger on road/fool/
Intelligent guy/pig...It will not matter...believe me....
Even Bhagavd Gita says this...in supreme perfection
state these material differences will not matter..because
one does / should not cling to "unreal" things.

You misunderstand. The entrepreneurial lifestyle isn't about having; it's about getting. Getting is much more fun than having. Having is just the icing in the cake.

it is just like any other habit, when money making is an habit they will be addicted to that. Wealth creation is a continuous process, it is not an one time activity.

Greed is an addiction which is more powerful than the craving for drugs.
