Uuummm....if you are 18, they cant stop you.....they can say whatver they want and not support you, but if you feel that getting married to this guy is what you want, then do it. Tell them they can support you or screw off.

Well. .. first of all . . .your parents CAN NOT keep you from marrying the guy you love once you are of legal age! In a perfect world your parents would embrace your guy but it seems this is not the case. This leads me to believe one of three things. Maybe your parents are just complete dickwads! If this is the case then the hell with them. Maybe your guy is a complete scumbucket loser. If this is the case then good for them for not wanting you to make a mistake. Or. . .maybe you are a guy and you love another guy. If this is the case then shame on you. . .guy/guy relationships are sick and disgusting! If this is the case. .. just crawl back in the closet and fade away!

If your parents didn't care about you and your happiness, they wouldn't care who you married, but apparently they do. If I were you I would tell your parents that you value their opinion and that your heart is aching that they disapprove. Would they please explain their reason in detail and give you understanding.
We realize that your parents don't love the object of your affection, but they do love you. Every parent looks forward to the day their daughter walks down the Ilse. They pray she marries well and gives then grandchildren.

If you are of legal age then it's nothing that they can do about it. If you are not then you will have to wait until you are. If you are in love believe me the love will last

first of all ur parents dont always know what is best for u.but u also should them but also.if ur sure u love this guy and ur ready for marriage,go for it
