Israel rejects U.N. request for cease-fire for aid. Do they want more innocent to die?

They keep killing innocent because they think its right. Israel is defending its self with the lives of hundreds of innocent people as realization to the few deaths caused by the terrorist. Israel seems to be more of the aggressor.

Israel didn't start this, there have been NUMEROUS U.N. sponsored cease-fires in the past (always when the Muslims cry 'uncle'). All the good it has done is let the peaceful Muslims regroup, claim victory, and start an attack on Israel again. Your question should be, "Does Iran and Syria want more innocents to die?" All Israel is asking for is the return of their soldiers, stop the killing of innocent Israeli citizens, and the end of terrorism. Do you find fault with that?

Do you know that Israel is engaged in ethnic cleansing in southern Lebanon? Israel has ordered all the villagers to clear out. Israel then destroys their homes and murders the fleeing villagers. That way there is no one to come back and nothing to which to return, making it easier for Israel to grab the territory, just as Israel has been stealing Palestine from the Palestinians.

Do you know that one-third of the Lebanese civilians murdered by Israel’s attacks on civilian residential districts are children? That is the report from Jan Egeland, the emergency relief coordinator for the UN. He says it is impossible for help to reach the wounded and those buried in rubble, because Israeli air strikes have blown up all the bridges and roads. Considering how often (almost always) Israel misses Hizbollah targets and hits civilian ones, one might think that Israeli fire is being guided by US satellites and US military GPS. Don’t be surprised at US complicity. Why would the puppet be any less evil than the puppet master?

Of course, you don’t know these things, because the US print and TV media do not report them.

Because Bush is so proud of himself, you do know that he has blocked every effort to stop the Israeli slaughter of Lebanese civilians. Bush has told the UN “NO.” Bush has told the European Community “NO.” Bush has told the pro-American Lebanese prime minister “NO.” Twice. Bush is very proud of his firmness. He is enjoying Israel’s rampage and wishes he could do the same thing in Iraq.

So yes I think that Israel, along with the US, want more innocent people to die. Why else would someone oppose a ceasefire?

Read the answers here...it is obvious many are just anti-Israel. Has the world lost it's common sense? Who would ever WANT innocents to be killed? It happens in war! Were the Israeli's trying to take over Southern Lebanon?...OR protecting themselves and loved ones from Hezbollah aggression? Who came into Israel and kidnapped Israeli soldiers? Who won't release them? Who vows to oblierate the Jewish nation? Hezbollah!...Have you heard any aggressive language of this nature from Israel? Open your eyes! My father always said to avoid a fight at all costs...but if you can't, make sure you hit hard and the other guy can't get up off the ground before you walk away! THAT'S peace!

Regardless of how you feel about the Israelis or Israel as a nation that has a right to exist, they have always been great tacticians. I think that they are trying to retaliate against Lebanon to the point where the people of Lebanon will not want Hezbollah to be using their country as a staging ground to carry out attacks. They want to convey that the price to be paid for allowing this will be very high. It's all about futuer deterrence.

u should know by now that all this bombing in lebanon isnt becoz of the kidnapping of 2 israelis soldiers,thats just an excuse to enter lebanon and take the land which israelis say belongs to them...theyre killing people and destroying houses for a lousy map some ignorant drew thousands of years ago showing where the location of israel should be in the middle east..it has palestinian and lebanese land thats why theyre attacking this 2 countries!!

The Israelis are killing mostly civilians. Now that they have this going, based on a phoney excuse, they do not want to stop as it will be harder to start up again. Their object is to kill as many civilians as possible and to destroy as much civilian property as they can, and in general to degrade the quality of life for as many Arabs as possible.

The LAST thing they want is a cease fire, especially when humanitarian aid is concerned.

oh god.. i nearly cried when i saw the ppl of lebonan dieng of israeli attacks n half of the americans still dont have any sympathy for those ppl..
