Where I live, writers meet once a week. I have a friend who writes, she goes to those meetings and tell me that they are great. Check were you live, you may find something like that,

Find a writing forum on the Internet. From there, you may solicit like-minded writers to join in editing and assistance. If your stories are fictional, find a forum that specializes in writing fiction novels and short stories.
I had joined one such forum and subsequently went through several co-writers until I found three that work in a team effort. Coincidentally, all three writers happen to be female (I'm male) and live all over the world. I'd recommend finding both genders to help you with the stories that you write.
Editing a story is a never-ending pursuit, but having several writers having your same interests will help immensely.
