Philosophers are doubtful about existence at all. And one can hardly start to describe the nature of something whose very existence is in doubt . No not in doubt but a conviction that it is not there. The best(and considered at one time the incontroverrible )answer of DesCartes(who laid the foundations of Modern Philosophy)"Cognito ergo sum" I feel therefore I am failes to convince after analysis of the basic nature of 'cognito" The 'cognito' is not pure knowledge but a product of existence with all its limitations and the nagging doubt of its being there at all when all matter was finally resolved into electronic impoules the Twin Towers of Existence came crashing down like the 9/11 catestrophy. Frantic attempts were made to argue that even electricl impulses are physical phenomena and therefore proof of existence of the materialistic world were made but the palpabe material world disappeared once and for all. In its heyday it was making such sure-footed strides. The love that Romeo felt for Juliet was the same as attraction of iron towards a magnet. And yet the materialistic concept of existence alone makes some sense of existence how it came to be and how it is going on and how it would end some day.Darwin's theory of evolution has banished god once and for all. Pitiable attempts are being made to take advantage of some missing links in Darwin's theory to bring back god and his creation through back door . Poor god.The idealistic philosophers were at least honest to their convictions that existence is existence of ideas only and does not have an independent existence.

The nature of existence is the existence of nature. The nature of nature is the existence of existence. Thus, existence is the nature of nature, and nature is the existence of existence.

We live, not to exist, but to have a purposeful and meaningful life. We live not to live a highquality life, but to grasp the chance to be alive and have a chance to input our own differences. It is a miracle. Sometimes, you just have to believe. Why seek a meaning for everything? We should be content for all these things we have. Is that not enough? What more could we want?

FEELING SO EMPTY INSIDE FOR NO REASON AT ALL... FELT SO DOWN BUT YOU JUST CAN'T TELL WHY. FEELING THAT THE WORLD SUDDENLY SPINS AROUND YOU AND YOUR CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE GOIN' NO WHERE...... THAT IS THE BEAUTY OF BEIN' HUMAN.. IT IS KNOWING THAT THERE IS A PURPOSE FOR EACH EXISTENCE & WHATEVER THAT MAY BE, IT IS THE ALSO REASON WHY WE STILL WAKE UP BREATH'N EACH MORNING... TO DISCOVER THAT MISSING PIECE OF THE PUZZLE THAT WOULD MAKE OUR LIVES COMPLETE. :)

I'm thinking Descartes here.. where he says that the very concept of thought is proof of our existence.

I dunno I never took Philosophy but I figure I might as well take a stab at it :)
