There are few products that remove cured silicone. A Good one is Prosoco's Dicone NC9 & Dicone NC15 Gel . The NC9 is for removing silicone sealants ( Caulk/adhesives) .NC15 is for removing silicone based water repellants. Check out the links and find a distributor near you.

Try the edge of a plastic bank card to remove the bulk of the silicone, then assuming you are in UK, D.I.Y stores sell a solvent to remove the traces, Check this solvent on a hidden part first.

there are stanley knife blade holders that you can buy at virtually any diy outlet,
they hold the knife blade at a right angle to the handle and you can use it like a scraper.
that's what i use.

razor blade perhaps the old fashioned one,s like you grandad used or maybe stanley knife blade
