Haha, good question, the answer is probably to reload the entire PC. I had the unpleasant experience once of uninstalling Norton software and it left the registry a mess. I got it removed eventually, but there were still traces of it until I reloaded the machine. If you haven't wiped and reloaded the machine in a year or two, save yourself the aggravation, reload to a fresh PC and then install McAfee Internet Security Suite.

Go to control panel click on( add remove programs,) find norton in the list and click on ( change remove).
