MY mom found these little things that looked like sea monkeys in our dogs water. She thinks they are polywogs but they look way to small. We are wondering how they got there. Could it be that there were eggs in our dogs food and some got into the water? WE took them out and im gonna get a little tank. What do I feed them?

I only give my dogs bottled water or water from our 230 foot deep well. Seems like your water was setting out. Sounds like frogs, or misquito larvae. If they are small white worm like they are probably misquito larvae. You could take them to the DNR to find out.

How often do you change your dogs water? If something is living in it, why don't you go out and get a glass and drink it! Change it every 3-4 days! YUCK!
Now to your question, it is probably mosquito larva, or another bug called a water skimmer (also has spider in its other name, but I don't recall)....also, you did not describe it except it looks like sea monkeys....I'd guess mosquito...Hope your dog is on Heartgard!

NOW GO GIVE YOUR DOG FRESH WATER!
