Sometimes when you walk in the park, you will see one or more snails stick on the tree above your head. The interesting thing is that it probably take them day to get up there and what benefic do they get? and when they wanna get down do they just fall to the ground or climb back down.

I have no idea. I don't think snails actually have the capacity to think about how they are going to get back down - I think they just go - Now, the reason this question caught my eye is because I was babysitting a 9 month old girl last week, and her mom left a video for her to watch. It was one of these "smarty baby" videos, and they showed a close up of a snail for about 2 minutes, doing absolutely nothing, and saying nothing about it. Tell me what was the point of that? It just made the child cry, and it really looked gross.

It depends how big the tree is, snails are pretty slow, but it would take half a day to get up a tree!
I have no idea why they go up, maybe it's their home . .
