U hv 4 options to do this.
First click on pencil near the search bar on yahoo toolbar and select uninstall.
Second, follow this path. Start> control panel> add remove > yahoo toolbar> change remove.
Third, Right click empty space on toolbar and uncheck the yahoo toolbar. It will hide.
Fourth, click view and select Full screen.
Now u hv 4 alternatives and choice is certainly urs to choose anyone of these. It will solve ur problem.

get rid of the toolbar easy delete it from your pc click on start control panel then on add /remove look in the list for toolbars and delete the toolbar you want off your pc if you dont see any toolbars there go to http://www.paretologic.com/products.aspx
and download xoftspy422 this software will remove any toolbar that has spyware in it all so very good for removing back door trojans/s malware/ key laggers / that your anti virus and ad/aware professional can not see if you do try xoftspy422 when you set it up stop the scan click on scan settings tick every box and click on where it says ... click here to select a folder

To permanently get rid of part of the whole toolbars:

also when right click a empty space on the toolbar you get an option to customize
use this .you can shrink the icons unless it is ready on small

Do you mean taskbar at the bottom of your screen the one with the START button on it? If you are using XP go to setting/control panel/taskbar and start menu and tick auto hide taskbar job done. If its win 98 2000 or ME the same option is in folder options in control panel.

either remove the tool bar in add and remove or if u click to the edge you will get a cursor with two arrows just move this to reduce the size and free up space on ur screen.

put your mouse pointer on the toolbar in a nuetral place as to not open anything, right click and then there you go!
