Suffering is necessary for learning...the brain makes connections most strongly where survival is at stake. What I don't understand is suffering caused by other humans. Pain is necessary, cruelty is not. Without pain, we do not recognize the symptoms of injury or illness. Without cruelty, our lives would be much more rewarding.

Suffering exists because of the actions of individual men and women. People make choices which impact others for better or worse, but usually for the worse. Suffering persists because each generation seems to continously pass the seeds of hatred, ignorance, self-interest and greed to the next. Children will constantly be born into a world that perpetuates these negative concepts, so suffering will never truly end.
As far as life being better without pain, I don't think it would be. We don't truly learn from the greatest times in our lives, we learn from the worst. Not just mistakes that we learn not to make again, but feelings of sorrow and emptiness creating a void that demands to be filled. When that void wells within us and brings on that undying thirst, we fill it with the inspiration we draw from our creativity. Art, music, writing, even passion and dynamic individuality are born from despair. The chaos that surrounds us is the fire that fuels our most unique and cherished forms of expression. Without pain, what would you strive for? No one ever found heaven without first walking through hell.

Is it a threat to get excitement from gentle in case you didnt comprehend what darkness became? we may be able to fee happiness purely after all of us comprehend what hard cases are. each and every person has sturdy and undesirable days. each and every person has an enemy, no remember how sturdy and noble he's. (undergo in innovations, all the prophets we've learnt about had enemies and negative cases besides). existence is such that when we do sturdy, there are one hundred people praising us and a minimum of 10 people criticising what's been performed. God does not choose soreness and unhappiness in this international. that's we people who've created this for ourselves. God has made a pretty advent and given us all that we require to have an excellent residing, yet we are answerable for the politics ( notwithstanding petty they could be - family individuals politics, friends politics, team politics etc), the wars, the restlessness and the frustration that stems from inadequacy of wealth and not in any respect being waiting to satisfy our needs, the jealousies, the competition to achieve prestige, be richer. Its purely when we commence to seem into ourselves, and comprehend that we ought to continuously be contented once our 'needs' are met and not in any respect run after our 'needs', that lets be at liberty.

Yes ,we all want a life filled with no pain but as the old saying goes,no pain no gain!!! all things happen in this world, in order to set us on the right path and harsh as it may seem some innocent people has to suffer for the sake of others to be able to get their lives on track! I wish that life would be pain free but without the pain we would never learn how precious life is and we are all guilty for taking our lives for granted! it use to be here today and gone tomorrow but now its here today and gone today!

In my opinion, it would not. Pain teaches us to love life and who we are and not do risky things. I'm glad everyday because there is nothing wrong with me. Pain also tells us that we are doing something wrong: If your back hurts while picking up something heavy, you can then realize that it is too heavy for you and put it down before hurting yourself too much. True, there is too much suffering in the world, but once that pain somewhat subsides, it can really teach a person to be thankful and cherish life. But then again, that's just how I think of it.

Pain exists to tell you that something is wrong in the world.
For example, if you sit in one position for too long, your body will start to feel cramp and you'll feel the desire to change positions. If you couldn't sense this pain, your body would get stuck in that position and cause damage to your muscles.
Pain is there to remind us that we are living beings that need to be taken care of. It's all part of a process that keeps ourselves moving.
Sometimes people can't fix their pain. In those situations it truly is tragic because the mechanism designed to help you is only hurting you. That is just the way of life.

i somewhat agree BUT without pain we wouldn't appreciate the pleasures of life as much. we also learn from the pain.
if it was always sunny we wouldn't appreciate the nice days as much...after 3 days of rain you're very happy to see the sun. bad things happen and we need to take it in and learn from it. i believe that which does not kill us only makes us stronger. so when something bad happens we must look at the positive side...like ok, this happened but i know not to do this again.

The world since its existence has been with happiness and sorrow. Perhaps to indicate that only various scriptures quote of suffering and happiness in theirs.

much like darkness is the absence of light.. pain can be construred as absence of happiness.
absence of pain can't be called happiness though else morphine would be the most sought after commodity on earth
so pain exists only in as much that we strive to replace it with happiness. you would not be so happy if you had not experienced pain.. to appreciate something.. you gotta lose it sometimes..and then work to get it back!
my 2 cents :-)
