If you need to use your PC anywhere then a laptop will be nice. At home a desktop will be good, and a desktop you can upgrade by DIY. Each got their pro and con.

Gaming is one of the most demanding of applications.

Putting together a decent configuration on a laptop would cost big money
Invest in a good desktop, chip / chop components safely & at ease., besides much better performance & very much lower price !

If i were not 2 play games & had 2 decide ... then laptop, slim and light ... a handy fella like the dell xps m1210

Hands down desktop for gaming. I don't necessarily buy gaming laptops but I do buy laptops that can at least play my games at acceptable frame rates, even if some of the settings are turned down. But, most of my gaming occurs on my home built, uber desktop rig.

Desktop is definitely much better, whether for gaming or working. But if you got to travel around, then no choice, u gotta have a laptop.

i would prefer a wired mouse attached to the laptop or desktop so i can manoeurve the cursor better and also a good speaker system to the laptop or desktop for relaxation.
