Yes. Go to Cottage Industries store in Janpath, see the craft industry inside and out.

There is also a little cafeteria inside where you can have a coffee or tea or refreshment and read the books from the book store on the next level. A very enjoyable place.

Delhi Haat usually has exhibitions. It is a lovely place to spend the afternoon

The Chidiaghar. - or zoo. The bears love to sit in the pool of water cooling themselves. One opportunity to see white tigers.

Delhi tour.

There are now coffee houses that are like book centres where you can read and have a cup of coffee.

How about visiting Chandni Chawk. A wonder ful way of spending the afternoon exploring.

The red fort.

Delhi Book Store in Darya ganj.

The Qutab Minar. Here you will see evidence of the treachery of Islamists or muslims who destroyed a hindu temple to build their own prayer hall.

Old delhi streets are I am told a story in themselves. I still have to try that but I understand the islamic influence is intense so it may not be my cup of tea.

I hope these are some good ideas.

Try one of the city's many coffeehouses. Young ladies often like these as they are air conditioned and provide a suitable atmosphere for meeting girlfriends.

Lodhi Gardens, South Extension, Connaught Place, GK I and GK II Markets also have lots of shops and restaurants for meeting people.
