Like snow and love the sun? You sound like a warm-hearter person! Anyway, to answer your question, I was raised in the place with snow, then moved to a sunny place and missed the snow. So, I moved to a place with snow, but got tired of living in it. Now, I'm back in a sunny place but goes to see the snow in the winter. You know, I don't think a human being could ever be fully happy with just one thing all the time. We need variety with the convenience.

I was born in Kentucky and was snowed-in twice before I finished school. I hate snow and the problems it causes, so I moved south. In Houston, I saw "snow" once. It melted within an hour. In San Francisco, I've twice heard rumors of snow. Once, I was in LA when it did. Another time, I hear it snowed on Twin Peaks, but I wasn't up there that day. As in Houston, ice storms that pass for snow melt in an hour or so in Frisco. The only time I may see snow is when I travel. I visit relatives in summer to avoid snow. I choose not to be around snow, so I miss it like a toothache.

Only at Christmas. The rest of the year I wouldn't care if I ever saw it again. I've spent too many years shoveling the darned stuff. Plus snowstorms in April are a real pain in the butt. Especially when they're so bad the city is almost shut down for 2 days.

with the heat index we've been having, I wouldn't mind a little snow right about now.

We need both. I spend winters in the Caribbean and spring, autumn and winters in America for years.
