What have you done to it recently?
Your timing may be out, clearances may be adjusted incorrectly etc.
Is it getting fuel?
A little more info in the question helps alot.

not enough info but to make sure its not a fire problem put a screw driver in one of the spark plug boots and place it within a 1/4 in of a ground ( bracket block etc) and have someone turn it over while you watch for spark. DO NOT TOUCH METAL PART OF SCREWDRIVER hold by the handle. If you have a good blue spark its not igniton problem, but could still be timing, bad timing usually ends up with sputtering and backfires , so if its not doing that check fuel, did you forget to attach a wire, or plug you took off.

3 things. Fuel, air, spark. Since we are both breathing, that takes care of air. See if you are firing the plug. Get an inline spark tester.
DO NOT GROUND THE PLUG, OR PLUG WIRE TO SEE IF IT IS SPARKING. YOU WILL SEND A KV SPIKE AND FRY YOUR ECM
If you have spark, look at fuel. If you have all of these elements, then there is something out of sequence (timing, firing order, crank trigger) I do not know how to help you, because, I do not know what it is doing, or why you think the firing order may have/had something to do with it.

are you getting spark at the plugs? i assume the engine cranks but wont start. no spark? check plug wires, distributer cap if it uses one, rotor if it uses one. hi voltage coil. yes, spark? is fuel getting to cylinders? check injectors and injector wiring. fuel pump pressure. good luck
