I've been riding since 1972, take a word from vet of biking! Always wear your helmet! You only have one head, you F it up and your dog meat pal! No matter how good you are you WILL have an accident, and when you do your head will be hurt real bad without your helmet. Don't think riding without a helmet is cool, it's stupid!

Unfortunatley you do have to wear one, but only when law enforcement is looking at you. Helmet are very dangerous, especially the full face helmets. They block your hearing and they block perrifial view. Always ride as if you are invisible and assume nobody can see you, most don't. Save a life, look twice, motorcyles are everywear. Helmets are dangerous.

You don't have to do anything.
Let them give you a ticket when you are in the state that has a helmet law. You always have that option.

You are required to abide by ALL state laws, regardless of where you are from.
Imagine being from California, and being ticketed for speeding in Ohio.
Now imagine you told the cop, I am from California, and we can drive 70 mph, so you can't give me a ticket. I doubt he would say you are right, I can't give you a ticket
