Thise were the responses 2 weeks ago from Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia to the Hezzbollah kidnapping of the two soldiers. After subsequent events do you think they still hold that view?

Today their views changed. Israel has just gone over the brink.

Yes, but they (particularly Saudi Arabia) is in a delicate situation.
They have no love of Israel to be sure, but they fear Iran. There stance is not so much born of enlightenment as it is of helping to bring down the influence of Iran.

They were stating the obvious. It's even more obvious now.

Lebanon didn't kidnap them. Hezbollah has no authority to take prisoners in any country. they use terrorism to get their way.

The soldiers were on Labanese soil. There is nothing wrong with their being taken as prisoner. (They were NOT kidnapped.)

I'd say that's what Hezbollah is thinking now also. Can't take the pain don't play the game
