LOL that is because they know it annoys you.... Sorry but that is pretty much why they do it whether or not they consciously think that or not... That's why!

Mainly I believe, they are trying to force their style of music onto everyone around them. They think for some reason that what they're listening to is so good that they have to share it with everyone around them. The bad thing is it only gets worse. When you can hear the noise coming from their vehicle as it passes by you on the street means that it's over 85 decibles and within about 6 months they're sure to start noticing severe hearing loss that keeps getting worse and worse and they'll have to turn the volume up more and more to hear the same loud noise. Wonder how many people have permant hearing loss from such idiocy. Most of them don't realize they've already lost a lot of their hearing. They just keep twisting the volume higher and higher. So for all of you that are riding in your vehicles and start getting a lot of glares from people driving or walking next to you, go get your hearing checked. You've probably lost a lot of your hearing ability and don't even realize it. Anything over 85 decibles will start to cause loss of hearing if your exposure is for lengths of time.

what's annoying? the bands music you listed or the way they listen with the bass pumped up? the bass is so loud when their cars go by that my teeth rattle. i'm a rock fan from way back, and still try to keep up with current trends. i listened to i loud back then, but it sounded good thru my bose system. you could really crank it and not get distortion. the way they listen to it, it's almost unrecognizable as music. i think they're just showing off, you know like peer pressure. they have to show they're hip, cool, the heat, da' bomb, whatever the current lingo is. i don't listen to it as loud anymore tho
