Israel, but Lebanon's not the bad guy.

Remember 1967? Israel took on the rest of Arabia and still came out on top. And after THAT, they released all the land they occupied outside of Palestine.

Israel hasn't declared war on Lebanon and isn't trying to attack another nation-state. All they're doing is going out and catching the bad guys. Pretend Lebanon and Israel were parts of the same country and terrorists had launched missiles from within this L/I-land. Israel, would do the same thing in searching and taking out the terrorists which would make complete sense.

The only issue here is if Israel is really concerned out innocent bystanders. Of course they are, but right now, they're doing what they can with the resources they have. Taking care of business here IN A TIMELY FASHION is the priority since the quicker they get it done, the quicker everyone's happy and the senseless violence ends. Hezbollah shouldn't have been allowed to exist after 1996, but we had that stupid cease-fire. Now, Israel's out to get the job done because Israel really wants it over.

If you're looking for an ultimate bad guy, there really isn't one. Yes, we can blame France and China for not supporting Israel's actions. We can blame Syria and Iran for shipping weapons and sending "advisors" and volunteers. We can blame Russia for not supporting us more adamantly, and we can blame the UN for being just a passive IO (International Organization).

I like this question though because you ask "Who is on the RIGHT side?" Lebanon has a weak gov't and needs to pull things together like Afghanistan is and like Iraq is trying to do (Lebanon is also one of our best friends in Arabia). But Israel is executing a strategy which hopefully can knock Hezbollah out and provide more stability to the region. Remember, Muslims are just like you and me: they want a safe environment to live and bring up their kids, a stable job and marketplace to get what they need, and appreciate all the little comforts in life that they can get.

Israel isn't out to crusade for Judaism, they're out to protect the people.

In war I don't think there is a right or wrong side, only a winner and a loser. In order for people in a country to pick up weapons and start killing other people, they must feel highly justified to take that action. We as non-participants cannot judge either side as right or wrong. War is like a black hole. It has a way of sucking people into it who have no reason to partake in the matter. Once another country sides with one faction or the other then that country is sucked in as well. I think the USA shouldn't take sides in this matter and just offer humanitarian aide to the victims.

Thier is no black and white 'goodie' or 'baddie' in this, this is the real world. Their is no right side, only two sides killing eachother.

However, Lebannon is not involved, they are not fighting Israel, Hizbollah is. Lebannon is the poor bloody country which is going to pay the price of Israels fury

My support is for justice, justified by my argument below:

To get a full understanding, we have to go back a long time ago when the Israelis were expelled from 109 locations and the British mandate and Balfour declaration gave Israel a part of the Palestine land that was occupied by the British forces then.

The Israeli Zionists had their own agenda to attain their "promised land" - the land between the Al Forat & the Nile Rivers - and Israel began to invade parts of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and more parts of Palestine.

In 1967 the UN passed resolution 242 calling for Israel to withdraw form the occupied Arab territories they have invaded & occupied during these wars.

During this time, Israel has been conducting ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians and is continuing to do so to this day as it is now doing to Lebanon as well. Have you heard of the Israeli Sabra & Shatila massacre in Lebanon or the Deir Yassin massacre in Palestine? Please read on:

The whole issue of the current abuse over Lebanon is not the issue Israeli soldiers. Israel provoked Hezbollah by crossing the Lebanese borders to aggravate matters and have Hezbollah retaliate. Lebanon is only a stepping-stone to reach Syria and Iran after Iraq has been totally destroyed and occupied by the US. (Israel was behind the Afghanistan / Iraqi wars).

For Israel to be able to fulfill its agenda, then it has to ensure that there are no powerful Arab / Muslim armies in the region except the Israeli army, which is backed up & fully equipped with US military weapons. Israel also has its own nuclear power station and nuclear warheads.

I have many sources to support all that I have said if you care to check them out yourself.

Israel throughout history has been conducting covert operations against the US (in particular) to set up the Arabs and begin wars with their neighboring Arab countries to achieve their cause / agenda.

From history, Israel did conduct attacks on the US harming and murdering US citizens trying to set up Arab countries in the process so that the US may start wars with these countries – Check the sources below: USS Liberty and the Lavon affair and others:

I wouldn't trust either one as far as I could throw them! The way I see it they should fight to the death and settle it or somebody should nuke them both and be done with it.
