Muslims, especially, and Christians live in Israel in peace in large numbers.
According to Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics, as of May 2006, of Israel's 7 million people, 77% were Jews, 18.5% Arabs, and 4.3% "others". @
Arabs/Palestinians also serve in the Knesset, Israel's legislature. *

Inside Israel, there are many cities where Christians, Jews and Arabs live amongst each other and everything is fine.
On the comment about Lebanese territories, well, hey, they attacked Israel inside her borders, not the opposite, Israel left Lebanon 6 years ago.
Gaza, well Israel withdrew all troops and settlements from there months ago, why is it that provocation with kasam rockets attacking southern israeli cities was continued for months before Israeli army re-entered to find these terrorists. Isreal doesn't need or want Gaza.
Also, history lesson, many years ago when Arabs ruled Jerusalem, jews were not permitted to go visit the western wall, when the city was liberated, all religions are free to visit, however, still at the dome of the rock jews are not permitted, and yes it is a Jewish holy site

Zionism is a movement that has nothing to do with the actual teachings of Judaism. One of the reasons why European governments and their allies support it, like I've said before, is to keep the Middle East under check and control, this however can also be seen to stem into the matter of religious controversy. Yes, one of the primary reasons Israel is supported is because of something in the Bible, in which Christians (though not all) believe justifies the deprivation of humanity and murder of innocent people day by day, the hypocrites they are. So yes, alongside with my previously mentioned reason, the fact that religion is a primary factor for the reason why European and Christian- dominant governments support Israel exists. These governments forced anyone they conquered into their religion and exclusively persecuted the Jews, except for those Jews whom were protected under Muslim rule from such persecution. Now these governments and Zionists use the mighty power of propaganda, to create the image that the Muslim, and Arab people (whom have Christians and Jews and others among them that oppose Zionism) as the haters, completely disregarding what they did to them in the past, and how the Muslim empires protected them. So yes, Zionism is wrong and is primarily supported by European- Christian dominant governments and their allies (America) for the reasons of an attempt to control the Middle East, a racist and completely hypocritical philosophy, and their religion. Though you cannot say that religion itself is related to Zionism, rather that Zionism is related to the Christian religion. Because it is a movement and philosophy, and though religion for Christian people plays a major factor on how they view it, technically, it can be supported or opposed by anyone, plenty of which oppose it are orthodox Jews (I'm sure you already knew that). Your question is harder to answer than most people may think. We know that Zionism has nothing to do with the religion of Judaism itself, but it creates a whole knew debate on whether Zionism is only "justified" by the religion of Christianity or if it's an actual part of the religion, for there are Christians who oppose Zionism, though in fact, this is a main cause of the support it receives. Either way, we both agree that Zionism in any shape or form is wrong, it is a hypocritical, racist, and evil philosophy and movement that destroys the unity and brotherhood of humankind, thus destroying humankind itself.

5657 years ago god proclaimed that the Jews have a home land and we shall call it Israel.
with that said Israel is home to many people of many different religions. before you go spouting off your right wing christian $**** learn your facts. Israel has treated every one the same. Palestinians lived peacefully in israel until they decided to be greedy bastards and wanted land that they had no claim to. israel defended themselves then and look what happened

Yes, they should. But realistically that's never going to happen while they have the wholehearted support of the USA to go around and bomb the crap out of whoever they like.
