Dye for lycra t-shirt? Expert advice pls. !?

Question

I have a white t-shirt which is 7% lycra and 93% cotton but unfortunatly it has got some little yellow spots on it now...i'll like to have it dyed into another color but will the hot water while dying affect the lycra and spoil the shape and fitting of the t-shirt?

go for reactive dyes cold brand with more darker shades
