How could one sympathise on the Israelis when they are the aggressor here. They are murdering lives in Lebanon and claim it as self defense. At the moment, they are fighting the Hezbollah on the Lebanese land and not on Israeli soil. Self defense is only when you are protecting your people in your land and that is what the Hezbollah is doing. As for the Israel, it is an invasion.

Does the Israelis have any sympathy when they kill hundreds of civilians that they claim is unavoidable? Those little children and women among others received no sympathy from the Israeli soldiers. They claim that this invasion is to save the 2 soldiers that were kidnapped. Does anyone really believe it is for the 2 soldiers? More than 10 of their soldiers have died and i do not believe that they are willing to risk more in line to save this soldiers. It is never about the soldiers.. It is about reoccupation.

Israelis are very good in PR and in making the world sympathise on their cause. But one has got to ask.. what is their real cause? One has got to ask.. who is the real aggressor now? One has got to ask who is the one who is defending and who is the one who is attacking? One has got to ask.. who is the real sufferer?

I have a lot of sympathy for the murderers of 232 marines in 1983! In addition, they killed a lot of innocent Israelis and Lebanon lets them use their country for a staging area. I would kill as many as I could and kick them out of Lebanon. Too bad , but they miscalculated how strongly Hezbollah is hated here!

Israelis are the aggressor? Who kidnapped and killed soldiers inside Israel, Israelis??

The world have bore witnessed to the evil deeds committed by Islamist militia groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, Al-Quaeda, and others... so how can any law-abiding people sympathise with murderers, kidnappers, killers that make up Hezbollah?

faith is a serious - even if no longer the only - contributor. lack of conventional education motives a weaker than everyday exertionscontinual, which finally ends up in poverty, which leads to unrest and a terrible cycle of dropping the lives of too many little ones as poverty begets poverty. The politics of the area is basically some genuine international places and significantly better tribal councils that ought to no longer agree on p i s s i n g in the airborne dirt and mud. you choose unity of reason to forge a useful united states of america. can't say as I see that in the middle East. faith is likely between the justifications that stops unification. even once you've a great guy in authorities, at the same time as he dies, the position falls aside once better. without the continuity of a useful authorities, it is one petty dictator after an better, all of them wolves in sheik's clothing.

Isreal! They signed a peace treaty and gave back the occupied land. Hezbollah wouldn't have peace and started the same old sh*t with killing the Isrealis. Lebanon did nothing to stop Hezbollah and now they have to take their lumps! Tough SH*T!!!

Israelis had the right to defend their side but then again..What started all of this is Hizbullah taking two Israeli soldiers as hostages, and why? Because Hizbullah want their Lebnaese prisoners back. What Israeli's doing from violence and bombing ..etc. is unnecessary, they could've talked over it but no they chose violence. Hizbullah is not a terrorist group, all they're doing is DEFENDING their own land and country and if that's terrorism then we're all terrorists!!

If people hearts don’t hurt from the horrible images of the dead children, I cannot image what the world is coming too.

The problem is this not happening in Lebanon only, it’s also happening in Palestine and Iraq. People are bombed in their homes under the myth sold be the media and several “governments” that the occupiers are ‘defending” themselves against the “so called terrorists’ who are hiding amongst the civilians.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4314898.stm (actually the Israeli troops are using Palestinians as human shields)

Unfortunately, this is untrue and propaganda to legitimize and excuse the genocide done aainst the citizens of these countries.

People fighting to live on their occupied lands are being labeled as terrorist.
Supposedly, we all know:
-Parts of Palestine were handed to Israel in n1948 under the Balfour declaration.
-Iraq’s invasion was based on false reasons.
-The latest war on Lebanon was planned for by Israel one year ago and began when the Israel crossed the Lebanese borders (contrary to the story sold to us by the biased media).
http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?SectionID=107&ItemID=10650
-Hezbollah are a Lebanese militia fighting for Lebanon.

So who is really the aggressor / terrorists using banned weapons of depleted uranium and yellow phosphorous against civilians and who are the freedom fighters.

The international community (specific governments) are allowing Israel to conduct genocide against the Lebanese people, punishing them to force them to comply with UN resolution 1559 and at the same time, these same countries are vetoing every Un resolution against Israel and not putting any pressure whatsoever to force Israel to comply with UN resolution 242 & 338.
http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/expelled.htm - just a look at the Un resolutions against Israel should be enough to see the long history of aggression against its neighboring states.

The same government is attacking and accusing Syria & Iran for supplying Hezbollah with weapons while it has been and is continuing to supply Israel with weapons – applying a double standard stance in the situation.

My sympathies are with all the citizens under occupation and who are being subjected to ethnic cleansing ever since Palestine was simply handed over to the Zionists.

Sympathies? Empathy? When you hear the story, do you ever wonder, am I just being used to further an agenda. Whose side do you listen to? That should be the question. Israel is modern in thought and standard of living. Duh, which should I choose?
