While it is true that ignorance is bliss, it also leads to making stupid mistakes again and again.

I believe in life long learning, both in general wisdom and common sense, and broadening your horizons with new studies. For example, I'm studying German with the help of a friend, I study various types of art and I do my upmost best to NOT repeat my mistakes.

Rest assured that one will continue learning throughout ones life.

To cease learning can be likened to stop breathing.

There's an old story about an uneducated man sitting on the side of the road.
Another man walks up to him and says, "Man, you sure are dumb."
"Yeah, I guess I am."
'What you need are some smart pills."
"What are smart pills?"
"Here. I got some smart pills. Just 10 cents."
"OK, I got 10 cents."

He eats the the pill.

"You, know, that pill tastes like rabbit sh**."

"See there! You gettin' smart already."
