The sun is shining still in its location at the center of the solar system.If the sun does not rise in your place when it is suppose to rise, it could mean something is wrong on the earth's rotation or revolution.(There are certain parts of the earth where there are certain period where they cannot view the sun.)What will happen? There will be no days,just nights.Not unless there will be deceleration of the gravitational force,it would cause no harm for a short period.Presuming the earth will be on that situation without the sun on a long run, just try to recall the importance of the sun on the earth and you will know the consequences in its absence. (Just presuming huh! Ifever such event will happen it could be an omen of the end of the world.)

The sun never comes up. The Earth rotates to bring you back in view of the sun.

The sun doesn't come up, so nothing would happen. We would all live our normal lives. If the Earth stoped rotating then the side facing the sun would be fried and everyone would die, on the side where the moon is everyone would freeze to death.

The sun never comes up. The Earth rotates to bring you back in view of the sun. If you didn't see it appear then the Earth stopped roatting and you are doomed to die an extremely cold death in the dark, as would all plants and animals around you.

That would be impossible, less the earth stopped turning, or the sun exploded. If it exploded, we would burn. If earth stopped turning one side would freeze, and the wind would stop, or change so much, that the climate change would kill about everything. The magnetic field would be messed up, and many other things.

Then the earth is not rotating or rotating only a 180 degrees back and forth

Earth will have stopped rotating - probably due to shortage of Oil, Petrol, Gas etc.
