Eat first, then sleep. It's not very healthy to do so, but if I am in my bed and the thought of food crosses my mind, it's pretty hard to ignore it.
For example, when I know there is this delicious little left-over in my fridge, it's like I can't stop thinking about it. Then I really have to make a decision. Stop thinking about it, or just get out of my bed and go for it. Mostly I go for it.
I can afford to do it as I am pretty skinny by nature. :-)

I have a tall glass of milk and hit the sack. That quickly satisfies the hunger, and then allows me to promptly address the more pressing issue. It's hard to fall asleep when your tummy is rumbling!
