A very fast source of information. Made so by the search engines. You ask me pretty much any question, I can get the answer for you inside of 5 minutes.
I come before the the age of the Internet, and I know what it took to research a problem in those days. It took days, sometimes weeks to find what you wanted in those days. You want the molecular structure of a carbohydrate? Well you had to find a book that covered that. Today, you just type that into a search pane. Is Don Adams (Maxwell Smart) still alive? No. 10 seconds to find it, and when he died. The origin of the phrase "Whole nine yards?". Got it. Medieval age. Taylor's. Try looking that up without using the Internet.
Anyway, that is what it is about. Quick communication. Quick finding of facts.

I do not have any feelings for the internet because I only use it and will never allow it to rule me.

Educational and fun! You could be in little old Akron, Ohio and (see), and talk to your relatives in jolly old England with in seconds! No other form of communication can beat the Internet! Well, I forgot about cell phones!
