Cloning of body parts is a great idea; ditto with organs. We could save a lot of peoples' lives... but as usual religion gets in the way of progress.

This is a tricky question. On one hand is scientific progress. on the other hand are ethical questions whether it is right or wrong to interfere in creative processes. At one time it was considered unethical to explore the universe including moon landing. US did land men successfully on moon in 1969. Heavens has not dropped since then. Today we are contemplating space tourism. Hence I will discard ethical objections and make believe reasons and opt for human cloning. There could be certain adverse impacts which will surely get sorted out over a period of time. Who knows this might give several innovative solutions to mankind to solve its myraid problems.

u no, i don't believe in cloning, cuz i think that a human beig is perfection, in the image of god. do we really have that right to say to god, this is my world, i don't need you you dont exist? every human is different, even identical twins may have something to distinguish them like hand preference. let me put it this way, if your little johny died, u wud just clone another. well that clone just isn't johny is it. for the cloning of body parts, i might support it, but never of whole organisms

Should never be allowed, you only go around once and there are too many nutcases already without allowing copies of them to be produced. Who would decide who gets to be cloned? Think about that one for a second.

What about the clones? If you were a clone, would you be happy to loose body parts (e.g. your legs) to restore s.o. walking capabilities?

I am unique and will like to stay as such. Every human being is a masterpiece of nature and no will like to buy the coloned copies of the masterpiece. Keep this world as peaceful with lesser worries. That is advantageous to all of us.

I think its ignorant and dangerous to say a blanket yes or no to this kind of thing....
This issue is in the same basket as the abortion debate.....
People like these things to be black and white... right and wrong....
But the fact is that every situation is diffferent and one shoe does not fit all.....
It has alot of potential for both good and evil..... like anything with great power.....

Whatever we think, it is going to happen. And as human history shows, more positives will come out of it than negatives.
