I'm a month delayed now on my period but I test every week after my missed period and it's always negative. I have UTI and I'm trying to cure it naturally with lots of liquid intake (no medicines what so ever) so I guess what I'm asking is, does this affect the tests that I'm doing?I am sometime irregular with my periods so could this be one of those days? I dont feel nausea, headaches or any signs of pregnancy. So how can I tell?

I got my period yesterday so I guess it was a false alarm. But I'm still willing to know if my UTI would affect the results of future home test I'll be doing...

If you have a UTI, you may really want to get into a Dr. for antibiotics. If left untreated a UTI can cause all kinds of problems such as traveling farther upwards into your bladder or kidney and cause infections there. And believe me kidney infections are much more painful than UTI's. I know, I have been hospitalized (while pregnant) with one.
Also, if you are pregnant and you leave the infection untreated it can cause problems with the baby as well.

Now, as far as being pregnant or not, if you have multiple tests that are negative you are probably not pregnant. However, with you having a UTI, your urine may not show enough of the pregnany hormone to properly show up as positive on a test. I have no idea if that can affect the outcome of a test or not.
You should call the Dr. and ask them what they think to be sure. You may need a blood test to be certain.

Good Luck!

Well sweetie, from what you have stated, I would recommend going to the hospital to be seen by a physician. Sometimes, box pregancy test can be unreliable. But, if you go to the hospital they will be able to tell you for sure through a blood testing, if needed as to whether you are pregnant or not. That way, you can know for sure and make sure that everything is ok with you.

I hope this helps!
