Well, it depends on wether you attach everything that has gone wrong for the Royals, or just what is wrong with him in general.
First of all, it isn't easy pitching on a team that is hurting in the standings....it's even harder, as a rookie, trying to develop.
Grienke's got some skills, and needs some time to come around...as well, the Royals need to build a nucleus, maybe steal a page out of the A's playbook, and work with building up the farm system.
Then, when Zack's ready, the team will be able to work with him.
Personally, it wasn't that long ago, that they were in contention for the old AL West, with players like Bo Jackson, George Brett, Willie Wilson, Bud Black, and Flash Gordon....but the team needs solid financial support, and most importantly, some place to start a good foundation. Good luck.
