I recently stayed in the hosp. for a good 3-4weeks and the nurses and a couple dr's really treated me wrong. wrong meaning, abandoned me on the bed. when i coudn't move myself to clean myself, they left me in my feces/diarrhea. that i was constantly having for days, which , i wasn't given ne thing for either. then had 2 fight for them to intubate me. then there were remarks made when i finally was, by the nurse. there is plenty more that happened, but not enuff space. just in general what can one do? the after affects were not just traumatized, but insomnia. scared to rest, thinking i am still there, and my life is in there hands and i have a chronic illness so it is ineitable that i would have to have another stay. i am more so paranoid of facilities after that.

I would file a formal complaint with the senior hospital staff. It's not OK to treat a patient like that, ever! I would recommend that you find a different hospital to stay in should the need ever arise, and make sure that you have a friend you can call to act as your advocate if they ever treat you badly. You might feel too ill to give the staff the lecture that they deserve, but a really pissed off friend can do wonders to make nursing staff actually treat you well. If I ever get sick, I'm going to have one of my paramedic friends stay in the hospital room with me, just to keep an eye out.
Have you considered a lawsuit? Unfortunately, the threat of a lawsuit is the only thing that gets their attention sometimes. You might consider talking with a lawyer.
Hope this helps!

The best thing to do is to try to forget it. I know how you feel I was treated bad in the Bloomington Indiana Hospital. My self and for 3 or 4 months It really bothered me. I am Incontinence and they took my diapers and said I was going to have to go to the bathroom. Well I cant tell when I have to go. So when I would pee my pants they would get mad and say. We don't like this and if you keep doing it we will put you in a bad and tie you in it. And make you wear a wet and messy diaper all day and night. Well they did do it and I had to stay in a wet and a messy diaper for 2 days!! Befor they would change me!! And not only that I diden get to eat but one time a day. Because they had me tied down and I coulden feed my self. You talk about a hospital from heII that was it. But the best thing to do is just forget it. And DON'T GO BACK TO THAT ONE!!! I woulden take a dead man to Bloomington Hosptial. I did report them to the state but I had no way of proving what I told them so there it is!! Anyway try to let it go good luck...From a REAL Nutcase!!""NUT'S"""..PS ..did i win...did i win...did i win???

When I was once pregnant my husband stayed house even as I drove to the clinic becasue we didnt recognise if it was once critical or no longer and he needed to paintings tomorrow so I took myself at like eleven at night time. When i obtained to the clinic they usually admitted me for remark he was once there in a middle beat given that he was once scared and knew I wanted him. Everything grew to become out ok however my factor is, for those who husband fairly adored you he could had been there for you in a heartbeat. He could have identified that a misscarraige is simply as horrable as wasting a child that's right here and on your hands. Your husband is an *sswhole and earlier than you believe approximately having a child with him you fairly ought to reevaluate your realtionship with him. No child merits to have a father that wont be there.

Consult a good Solicitor for appropriate action. I think you have a good case against the un-just treatment by the officials of the hospital for failing in there primary duties.
