i just started out witih my first aquarium. its a 2 gallon hex and i have a red clawed crab in there with 2 guppies. i just saw my crab attack and kill my male guppy and now he is eating it. should i leave the dead male guppy for him to finish or should i take it out?

If he eats the whole thing right off it should be fine but if he has any leftovers you need to take them out so it doesn't get the water all dirty. And you should get the surviving gruppy out of that tank as fast as you can so she doesn't get eaten by the crab, too. Or just get rid of the crab.

Hi,
You should take the live female out first... If your crab attacked
once it wll do it again... You may never have any fish again with that crab anyway... How do you feed him... He may be still hungry... If you want an aquarium... with fish... I suggest a crab
sanwich...lol... , but seriouly, if you still want to keep your crab,
you may want a second aquarium for fish ONLY>>>

It's safe, if it's beeing eaten. Don't leave it there for long though. If the crab drops it and doesn't touch it for over five minutes, I'd say throw it out.

You should remove the dead fish as fast as possible because it's probaly going to pollute the water & deadly bacteria are going to take over ur aquarium killing anything there.

A 2 gallon tank will get polluted rather quickly by a dead fish so you should probably take it out..

No I would remove it so it doesn't Pollute your tank and make your crabs think that your fish are their food.

no i would take it out.. if the other fish have not eaten it then it may poison your tank ... and make it smell bad before long...i would clean out the whole tank if i were you..
