My bestfriend and me have finally decided that our friendship is not meant to be... and we have been really harsh and rude to each other, inbetween we have said that we will always cherish the friendship. I am leaving for the UK soon and though I know that time cannot be turned back and I dont want to be her friend anymore.. it still hurts... how do i just forget about the friendship... people use to say "u two girls are stuck together" and now we are definitely apart...M hoping the move will help but everytime i see ours snaps on my comp.. it brings back memories,,,,

no, its not because of me moving... its a lot of things and we have called each other names including selvish and lousy friend... so there is no turning back.

If you still have nice memories of each other and the reason for your bickering is over something trivial, then why force your friendship to end?

I know exactly how you feel. Okay, here's my theory that might help you too. Best friends are different from acquaintances. Aquentences are simply people you know and you have a good chat from time to time, but a best friend is someone you trust, care about, turn to all the time, hang out almsot all the time. So you see, just becuase you are not best friends with this person, be aquantcences!! It's a win win theory!!

just because you move away don't mean you can't be friends --- chat online, emails --- get Skye and chat all you like.
My dearest friend lives in North Carolina(USA) and I live in Canada --- we chat, email and I get to visit her at least once a year.... I wouldn't ever be harsh and rude to her just because we can't hang out 24/7 --- evidently your friendship was pretty fickle....
